June 2007:
Tony D’Anjou’s 1/48 scale Mustang Mk. Ia, built OOB and painted with
Model Master enamels.
Decals are from the kit. Weathering includes exhaust and
gun smoke stains. The Malcolm hood required the addition of a whip antenna
made from a cat hair.

Jim Qualey’s 1/48 scale F4F Wildcat, considerably modified from the
Monogram kit. Jim scratchbuilt the cockpit and added gun barrels, pitot
tube and exhausts. He also filled in the wing fold so the model would more
closely resemble an F4F-3. Paint is Polly Scale colors mixed to match
color chips. Decals are Superscale for insignia and Aeromaster for numbers
and letters. The markings are for VF-6, USS Enterprise, February 1, 1942.

Rich Rycroft’s 1/35 scale PzKpfw IV Ausf. D, built OOB and brush-painted
with Polly-S. The kit decals depict a vehicle from the DAK’s 35 Panzer
Division HQ. The model represents Richard’s first attempt at weathering,
for which he used a brush only.
Rich Rycroft’s 1/35 scale SdKfz 161 Marder II, built OOB and
brush-painted with Polly-S. The kit decals are for an unknown DAK unit,
probably HQ of 21st Panzer Division, North Africa 1942.
